Strategic Plan: 2018-2021
In 2018, m2m embarked on a new, four-year Strategic Plan that aims to:
Play a major role in achieving the United Nations’ (UN) 90-90-90 2020 targets designed to bring the AIDS epidemic under control.
Help to deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals of ending AIDS, delivering health for all, and ensuring gender equality by 2030.
Contribute to inclusive socio-economic development cross Africa in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2063 goals.
Our four-year strategy leverages our experience and builds on our proven model by:
Focusing on three core client groups
We are creating impact for three core client groups—women, children, and adolescents—and adapting and designing programming to meet their health needs.
Enhancing our services
To meet the needs of our clients and the changing nature of the HIV epidemic, m2m is delivering new services, including branching into clinical services. We are also constantly improving the way we deliver existing services, and harnessing the benefits of mHealth technology even more effectively.
Improving our quality
m2m is increasing investment in Monitoring and Evaluation, and Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement systems to improve impact and shorten feedback loops further—leading to even better health outcomes and quality of life for our clients.
Raising our voice
We are strengthening community-led advocacy efforts in support of international and regional initiatives to increase the number of paid, female community healthcare workers with the goal of creating health for all.
Expanding our reach
We want to enhance our impact by reaching more target clients. m2m is deepening our footprint in countries where we already operate and strategically entering new countries.
